AMY FISH – NIKKI AND HAYLEY’S MOM

When Paulette asked if I would write something for her Paulette’s Ballet Studio website’s blog, I thought, “what could I possibly write about?”  My daughter Hayley, 15, has been dancing at Paulette’s since she was five and my daughter Nikki, 11, has been dancing at the studio since her “Mom And Me” classes when she was 18 months old!  I have so many memories and experiences from Paulette’s studio, where would I possibly start? I’ll start with my oldest, Hayley.

Hayley loves, more than anything in the world, her classes at Paulette’s.  She has said on numerous occasions that walking into Paulette’s Ballet Studio is as comfortable as walking into her own home.  She feels that seeing all her dance friends is like seeing her family…her dance sisters.  She loves these amazing girls and after a hard day at school ,  Hayley cannot wait to unwind and blow off steam at the studio with her favorite people….READ MORE

The DETC is an intensive one-week program that meets each summer. Dancers must pass both written and performance tests to move on to the next year, and the three-year course culminates in a graduation ceremony.

Paulette’s Ballet Studio is very please to have had six girls graduate this year. Please join us in congratulating Stephanie Csiky-Sessoms, Jacqueline Santamaria, Marissa Jensen, Michelle Dearolf, Morgan Phillips and Savanna Simpson!

We would also like to congratulate Savanna Simpson and Michelle Dearolf for winning two of the DETC awards. Savanna won the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston for the highest teach-in score in Ballet. Michelle won the JoAnn East award for having the highest performance and test grades in Level III. Congratualations, Michelle and Savanna!

Classes will include traditional ballet barre-work, and center floor stretch, strengthening, and combinations using both ballet and jazz technique. Feel taller, straighter, slimmer, and artistically nourished in a non-intimidating atmosphere appropriate for all ability levels.

Per Class Cost: $20.00
Six-Class Card: $100.00 ($20 savings)
Tuesdays, 6-7:30, July 13 – August 17.

Attire:
Traditional dancewear is “not” required; however, dance shoes (ballet or jazz) are highly recommended. Please dress for your own comfort, enjoyment, and ease of movement.
